NDLEA Seizes Four Tonnes Of Cannabis In Benue
The Benue state command of the Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has seized four tonnes of Cannabis and 2.3 grams of Cocaine across the state.
The state commander of the agency, Florence Ezeonye, while parading some suspects also lamented over the level of attacks on its personnel in the cause of trailing and intercepting the dealers.
She expressed concern over the increasing rate of cannabis cultivation in the state, noting that a total of 175 suspects were arrested during the course of the year.
The Commander, therefore, called on traditional rulers to help the campaign against hard drugs, stating that over 75 youths have so far been convicted for illicit drug trafficking.
