Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed the team he wants to face in the Champions League quarter-finals, according to Diario Gol.
The Portuguese forward has reportedly told Sergio Ramos that he wants Los Blancos to face Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-final in a bid to avenge the 3-0 defeat in the La Liga first leg of the El-Clasico at the Bernabeu.
Reports in Diario Gol also reckon that the Real Madrid forward wants Barcelona due to personal motivation as they claim it is a perfect opportunity to challenge Lionel Messi for the Ballon d’Or.
Real Madrid’s campaign in the La Liga has been disastrous and they are 14 points behind their arch-rivals Barcelona in the domestic scene.

Reports in Spain suggest Ronaldo has revealed he wants Real Madrid to be matched up against their arch-rivals if they get past PSG in the Champions League though.
According to Diario Gol , Ronaldo told Ramos: “I want Barca in the quarter-finals.”
Ronaldo said “This is the plan” and “It’s the right time” while discussing the potential last-eight showdown.
Ronaldo is of the opinion that Real Madrid has regained their confidence and has put their poor display earlier in the season behind them.
The Portuguese star believes that Real Madrid has what it takes to edge Barcelona to secure their third Champions League title in a row.
